Say hello to YINZR

What's up Yinz? 

Long time no blog! Yeah, I get busy just like you. Plus, how much do you wanna me hear me drone on about how cool Black and Yellow in the middle of a pandemic? We're all limited on time. I get it. I sincerely hope you and your loved ones are safe from this Virus, the fake news, and all the other madness going on this year!

Anyway, I'm blogging it up right now to tell you about Black and yellow's new sister line, YINZR! What is YINZR? Well, let's get the obvious out of the way. It's a stylized spelling of the traditional word YINZER which is slang for a person who grew up in the Western Pennsylvania area. That being said, why make a separate brand named YINZR instead of just expanding Black and Yellow? Many reasons, padewans. First, many times over the past 2 and a half years, we've had ideas for novelty style shirts that we thought were cool, but just didn't fit the black and yellow brand. I started this company with the express intent to never do slogan style shirts and keep Black and yellow a no BS line. The YINZR line allows us to have a little fun without deviating too far from our original idea. 2nd, YINZR is simpler, to the point, and budget priced. I like to call it "Blue collar pricing."  Black and Yellow will remain the premium line and its cost will reflect that. The nice thing about YINZR, however, is that it will still be made out of the same quality materials. Just kinda stripped down to basics. Basics aren't bad. Sometimes it's exactly what we want. Simply put, YINZR is our new novetly tee line where we can have a little bit of fun with Pittsburgh slogans and the like while keeping Black and Yellow free of goofy stuff and focused on the best brand it can be.
